Description
This is an arrangement of “Come, Come, Ye Saints” for SSAATBB choir and orchestra. Arranged by Mel Windham. This famous hymn follows the journeys of pioneers, both the good and the bad, captured with vocal and orchestral text painting in this arrangement.
Difficulty: Intermediate.
Orchestration
Winds: 2 flutes, 2 oboes, 2 Bb clarinets, 1 bass clarinet, 2 bassoons
Brass: 4 horns in F, 3 trumpets, 3 trombones, 1 tuba
Percussion (3): marimba, suspended cymbal, bell tree, wood block, glockenspiel, tubular bells, snare drum
Other percussion: timpani, harp, celesta
Chorus: SSAATB
Strings: Vln I (div a2), Vln II (div a2), Vla (div a2), Vc (div a2), DB
