This page is all about technical difficulties. As an uprising new company, we’re currently relying on free or low-cost solutions to deliver downloads safely and securely. However, in the last couple of years, some prominent companies have increased their anti-spam protections, which has unfortunately affected many small companies adversely: important emails not being received and downloads not working.
This page is about what you can do on your side to get the downloads you paid for. Keep in mind that third party setups change constantly, so you may have to get creative. But if everything below fails, feel free to send an email for help, and we’ll figure it out together:

- I didn’t get any Order or Download emails.
- You should get expected emails nearly immediately. If you don’t see them within a minute, something happened.
- You should receive an email with the subject “Your Melkim Publishing order is now complete.”
- Check your Spam mailbox. Since we’re using a SMTP email server, you should be guaranteed to receive your email.
- If you see the email in Spam, please mark it as “Not Spam” and move it into your Inbox. This may help future emails from Melkim Publishing to not show up in Spam, and may also help other customers as well.
- In the email itself, you should see a download link such as the example below. Click on the link(s) under “Download.”
- I click on the download link, but nothing happens (or I see the music pop up and immediately close before I can save or print).
- Sometimes the download happens in the background. Check your Download folder to see if the file is there. It should have the same name as what you see listed under “Download” in the email you received.
- Otherwise, the issue is most likely a pop-up blocker. WordPress currently uses pop-ups to deliver downloads safely and securely.
- If you’re using a browser that you’ve recently downloaded or updated, and have not changed any settings, there is likely a pop-up blocker turned on.
- For example: Chrome comes installed with a pop-up blocker already turned on.

- If you’ve installed and are using your own additional pop-up blocker, check out the documentation that came with your blocker. You may be able to turn off the blocker temporarily to get your download.
- If all else fails, send an email. We’ll figure out how to get you the download.
